Job Summary

Production of Poly-ISO Insulation Off-line products to published specifications. Tasks include inspection of product, production and assembly of all off-line products, and cleaning and maintaining Off-line areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Production of Nail board, Cool-Vent, Cut jobs, Rapid Lock, and Samples for sales
  • Cutting and assembly of Hips and Valleys, Sumps, and Feet
  • Inspecting product for quality attributes
  • Maintaining a clean work area
  • General labor
  • Assist in training of new team members
  • Maintaining 5S Checklist
  • Fill in other areas of the plant as required

Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of manufacturing specifications and quality standards.
  • Knowledge of safety aspects of all equipment as well as the plant's general safety policies.
  • Understanding the impact of sending incorrect/defective product.
  • Ability to operate mobile equipment safely

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Equipment Used:

  • Forklifts, Foot Saw, Panel Saw, Rapid Lock Machine and Cool-Vent machinery.
  • Office equipment (computer, phone, kiosk)
  • Computer systems (CMMS, SAP, MS programs)


Working Conditions:

  • Activities occur inside an insulation manufacturing facility. Job includes but are not limited to exposure to the following.
    • Temperatures exposed to both Ambient/outside temperatures.
    • Nuisance dust, use of chemicals, working with mechanical parts, pinch points
    • Noise of industrial machinery
  • Typically 40 hour per week with overtime as required
  • Days/shift vary based on facility need
  • Fast paced 24/7 operation

Travel Requirement

  • Overnight travel up to 10%, this will include travel to other facilities and to trainings
