This position is responsible for providing prompt, accurate and courteous service to clients, producers and company personnel. The Key Account Manager serves as the direct link between the company and its key clients, servicing existing claim/benefit inquiries and resolving day-to-day client needs, as well as strategizing with the producer at renewal and new business opportunities. RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist clients' employees with day-to-day questions that arise with regard to employee benefit program. • Promptly identify and resolve claim/billing issues, working with the employee and the insurance carrier. • Assist in all areas of the enrollment process, including initial writing of the group policy, eligibility, qualifying events, terminations, quoting, proposals, and plan design clarification. • Continually grow and develop talents and insurance knowledge. • Work with Insurance Carriers regarding plan renewals, contract changes and other matters. • Meet with clients to discuss and handle their insurance needs. • Keep producers fully informed of all important activities on their accounts. QUALIFICATIONS • 2+ years of experience working with an insurance agency, brokerage, or carrier. • Excellent customer services and relationship management skills. • Strong knowledge of insurance products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines. • Attention to detail and ability to process policy changes, renewals, and claims efficiently. • Experience in insurance management software.
