Resp & Qualifications This position is a Hybrid role, requiring 1-2 days a week onsite at either our Baltimore City, Canton or Baltimore, County, Owings Mills, MD location. Candidates in the DC, MD, and VA areas are highly preferred due to the onsite requirement. PURPOSE: Responsible for leading the development and implementation of progressive sourcing strategies that deliver cost efficiencies, supply assurance and quality in the procurement process. This role is expected to help identify and screen suppliers, developing strategic relationships, negotiate terms and conditions, and continuously drive improved supplier service levels through leadership and direction on a cross functional basis. This role will also ensure procurement strategies, processes, and program executions are fully integrated to support internal business plans and company objectives and will actively collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that our knowledge, relationships and investments are effectively and efficiently leveraged. This position will lead improvement activities, optimizing product sourcing management, cost management, and problem resolution. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
QUALIFICATIONS: Education Level: Bachelor's Degree, Business, Supply Chain or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience. Experience: 8 years in contracting and purchasing activities 3 years years management experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
