Job Title: Production Manager Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 Location: Manufacturing Facility (Indoor)
Position Summary The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily production operations of PolyIso manufacturing. This leadership role manages multiple direct reports and provides strategic direction for 70-100 production employees. The Production Manager ensures efficient, safe, and high-quality production while fostering collaboration across departments such as R&D, Maintenance, Technical Services, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Scheduling, Shipping/Warehouse, and Sales & Marketing.
Key Responsibilities - Production Leadership: Plan, direct, and monitor daily plant operations; assign work and delegate responsibilities to meet productivity, quality, and safety goals.
- Workforce Management: Train, coach, and evaluate production team members; support employee development and enforce performance standards.
- Scheduling & Planning: Review customer requirements and plan production schedules accordingly, including materials and labor forecasting.
- Administrative Oversight: Manage payroll, performance reviews, and daily production reports with a high degree of accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture through daily leadership, training, audits, and adherence to company policies.
- Lean Manufacturing: Implement the Carlisle Operating System and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, 5S, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal departments to optimize production flow, material usage, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee product quality and ensure all compliance documentation is accurate; act as a backup contact for third-party audits.
- Vendor Relations: Meet with external vendors to evaluate processes and drive cost-saving initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications - Manufacturing Expertise: Experience in production, process optimization, and scheduling in a manufacturing environment.

Education & Experience - Education: Bachelor's degree required; Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of management experience, including at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment overseeing multi-shift operations.
Work Environment & Schedule - Work Location: Approximately 65% office-based and 35% on the production floor.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with flexibility based on project and department needs.
- Availability: Must be available after hours and on weekends as required by production schedules or operational demands.
- Conditions: Manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes, and industrial materials.
