Resp & Qualifications The ideal candidate is someone who can work up to 30-40 hours in the summer. The Corporate Tax Department at CareFirst is a fast-faced department that handles the day to day functions of corporate tax including account reconciliations, journal entries, IRS regulations research and analysis, and the month end close process. This internship will provide an opportunity to work in an environment and participate in a variety of functions to obtain hands on experience.. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Education Level: This position requires an individual working towards a Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University. Junior or Senior Undergraduate student targeting a major in Accounting and/or Tax Reporting with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSAs)
