About Worldwide Research and Development From research and discovery to post-market clinical development, our WWRD engine involves all bench and clinical research and the associated groups that support those endeavors. Our teams work on developing first-in-class and best-in-class therapeutics that provide meaningful advances to patients who live with genetic diseases. The Manager, Business Analytics role supports World Wide Research and Development (WWRD) within the Operational Insights Center (OIC) in designing, developing and maintaining non-GXP computer systems that process and store business operational data. This position requires technical expertise in the Power Platform low-code approach, as well as deep Power BI development experience in Data Analysis Expressions (DAX language), Power Query data modeling and SQL. Familiarity with Development Operations ("DevOps") concepts like version control systems (Git), change management processes, validation and testing of system outputs, and authoring of documentation (User Requirements, Design Requirements, Administrator Guides and User Guides) are required. In addition to technical skills, this role requires mature soft skills and an adeptness in communication with stakeholders that are sensitive to their needs; understanding the unique requirements of the consumers of technical solutions produced by OIC is critical the BA skillset. Successful candidates are highly organized and self-motivated to solve technical problems independently, display curiosity for new and modern approaches, and are active participants in stakeholder meetings in driving consensus to the technical presentation of a solution. The salary range for this position is: $106,800 to $160,200. BioMarin considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
