DISTRIBUTION CENTER TEAM LEADER LOCATION: McLane Foodservice - 2641 Meadowbrook Rd., Rocky Mount, NC 27801 The Team Leader promotes and maintains warehouse productivity and efficiencies by working as a direct floor leader. Paid holidays, vacation time, educational assistance program, and more! The typical schedule for this position is Sunday - Thursday. The hours can vary based on the needs of the business, therefore, interested applicants need to be flexible. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Verify and record quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product; research out-of-stocks, shortages, and replenishment issues. Select, pull, sort, and stack product using power equipment or by hand. Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders. Coordinate warehouse labor (e.g., start of shift, vacation, and sick calls). This position has additional duties; special projects may be assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: 18+ years of age. 1+ year of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift. Supervisory experience. Basic computer skills. Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
