MUST CURRENTLY HAVE CLASS A CDL LICENSE! The Transportation Supervisor -Yard provides direct supervision for the Yardspotters and fueling department. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for all activities relating to the truck yard including location of trucks, cleanliness and more. Review all fueling reports and supervise yardspotters and one transportation assistant. Supervise and coordinate activities regarding hand cart assignments including check in and out process. Responsible for lock checks and temperature checks. This position has additional duties. Special projects may be assigned at the position supervisor's discretion. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent required. MUST CURRENTLY HAVE CLASS A CDL LICENSE A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Have at least 1 year of transportation management experience in the food distribution industry. Be knowledgeable about general truck yard operations. Be able to work a varied and flexible schedule. Have basic competency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word). Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
