Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Nurse Aide (37.5), 3-South (Med-Surg/Tele) 7:00pm - 7:00am In this role, the successful candidate Under the supervision of the registered nurse, performs routine service duties and basic nursing procedures necessary to provide for the care, comfort and safety of patients. Maintains patient and service rooms in a clean and orderly condition. Assists with the preparation of the room and equipment for diagnostic procedures. Participates in the orientation process of new employees Job Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a High School Diploma or GED BLS certification (AHA only) and first aid training. De-escalation training provided on job. Ability to read and write at an elementary school level to understand the patient's plan of care and to record data on the patient's medical record Ability to perform simple arithmetic calculations at an elementary school level in order to take and record the patient's weight, vital signs, I & O Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact with patients and their families that demonstrate recognition of cultural diversity Basic analytical skills in order to gather data, complete comparisons, interpret, & report outcomes to the nurse or document on the medical record. Ability to manage and perform multiple tasks simultaneously Must possess excellent customer service skills Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
