Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a PD-Occupational Therapist. In this role, the successful candidate Provides appropriate therapy to promote the ability to perform activities of daily living in an effort to achieve an optimal level of self-care. Uses clinical expertise to plan the delivery of safe, therapeutic, and age appropriate care through examination, evaluation, diagnosis and physical intervention. Assumes additional leadership responsibilities to meet the needs of the department. Practices in accordance with the American Occupational Therapy Associations (AOTA) scope and standards of occupational therapy practice. Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy (Commission on Accreditation in Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) approved OT program). Current and valid NYS Occupational Therapy license and registration. Current and valid BLS from the American Heart Association. Excellent communication (both oral and written) skills. Basic computer skills.. Required Licenses: Occup Thrpst License-NYS Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree Occupational Therapy (Commission on Accreditation in Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) approved OT program). Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
