Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Research Project Manager. The New York University Grossman School of Medicines Department of Population Health (DPH) is a dynamic environment of excellence, innovation and growth with faculty across a wide range of disciplines including behavioral and social sciences, epidemiology, health services research, evaluation, biostatistics, and medical ethics with a particular focus on health equity. The Health Evaluation and Analytics Lab (HEAL), led by Dr. Charles Neighbors, is a unique research resource that contains New York Medicaid and other state administrative data to support studies of health and healthcare. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage multiple NIH-funded studies within one of HEALs Cores: Addiction Health Services Research (AHSR). The mission of AHSR is to work with government agencies and community partners to improve the quality of care for individuals with addiction. We use sophisticated analyses of large administrative data, qualitative data collection, and randomized trials of interventions targeting organizations to improve the effectiveness of clinical practices while addressing issues of race/ethnicity, gender, social determinants, and their intersections. Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Education Bachelors Degree Required. Masters Degree strongly preferred. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience coordinating clinical/research projects involving both quantitative and qualitative components. Proficiency in using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, and Outlook. Excellent oral, written, and communication skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management; must work and communicate effectively with both internal and external parties. Ability to work within a team environment and independently with limited supervisory oversight. Excellent time management skills and demonstrated ability to organize complex tasks to meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal and organization skills, outstanding judgment, initiative, and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Preferred qualifications: Masters degree strongly preferred. Training in advanced statistical methods. Ability to translate complex data topics into actionable tasks across multiple projects. Demonstrated experience coordinating successful partnerships with outside partners and/or government entities. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $81,325.15 - $94,500.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
