Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will provide expert advice on risk monitoring and reviews for the organization, coordinate risk mitigation activities, and provide risk mitigation assistance to other groups.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The MF Risk - Risk Analysis - Lead Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
  • Operational risk reviews including the identification and assessment of risks and controls, gap remediation, and issue management.
  • Guide team in monitoring and identifying risks to a group or the organization.
  • Lead and coordinate team activities with regard to risks across groups.
  • Analyze risks and lead discussions to brainstorm solutions.
  • Lead teams and business groups on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Implement plans or decisions to avoid risks or mitigate their impact.

We are seeking a seasoned Operational Risk Professional to join our growing MF Team!

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences
  • 4 years

Desired Experiences
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Risk and Control Assessment experience strongly preferred
  • Operational Risk Experience is critical for success in this role

Skills
  • Assess Operational Risk & Controls and lead discussions to brain storm solutions.
  • Risk Assessment and Management including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc.
  • Determining causes of operating errors and taking corrective action
  • Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, building relationship networks, and working across different functional business lines respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
  • Experience gathering accurate information and clearly communicating to explain concepts, answer critical questions and Influence to resolve conflict
  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
  • Experience in the process of analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data and graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards

Tools
  • Experience using RiskWorks
  • Skilled in Tableau
  • Skilled in Excel
  • Skilled in PowerPoint
