Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Dialysis Associate, Certified - Acute, In Patient - Part Time - Mineola. In this role, the successful candidate Performs various patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs, comfort and safety of the patient with consideration to their age and cultural background. Works under the direct supervision of the professional nurse and performs duties as delegated Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a High School or GED Required. Hemodialysis Technologist/Technician. Certification is required upon hire OR within 18 months of continuous employment as a Dialysis Associate or Technician in any dialysis facility Required. Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), interpersonal, problem solving, critical thinking skills Required. Basic computer skills Required. Knowledge of regulatory and WUH policies governing safety standards, infection control, and patient belongings Required.. Required Licenses: Dialysis Tech - Cert, Clinical Hemodialysis Tech-Ct Preferred Qualifications: 1-2 years Nursing Assistant or equivalent Preferred.
