Description
The Bulk Picker selects products from reserve locations to replenish selection slots and make items pick-ready for selectors. For this position you will need to be comfortable working at heights of up to 28 feet. You will need to be McLane-certified to operate a turret pick forklift and a cherry picker, and you will be required to take a forklift test (both written and hands-on). A passing score on the forklift test is required in order to remain in the position. You will need to be able to lift and reposition pallets as necessary. The typical schedule for this position is 9:00 pm - 5:30 am - Sunday - Thursday. Some schedule flexibility is preferred. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Use RF unit or tickets to accurately record product that is being pulled from reserve to replenish pick slots. Label each case selected from reserve locations with the proper label for the item being selected. Identify different products and pull from the aisles as need by selection line. Identify damaged products, remove them to a designated storage area, and clean up any related spills if needed. Communicate with other departments regarding missing product and overpulling. Perform daily sanitation activities in your assigned area. Work safely to prevent injury and damage to people and products. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: At least 18 years of age. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Basic computer skills. Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
