Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading building envelope solution supplier that effectively drives energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are seeking an Machinist in our East Providence Plant.

Shift: 6am-330pm, Monday- Friday OT as required

Pay: $24.52

Summary- Assigned to Die Room, will report to Operations Manager. This job requires knowledge of Progressive Die Tool maintenance and set-up. Candidate will be responsible for daily maintenance of all progressive tooling and sharpening needs.

Skills Required:

Familiarity with Surface Grinder Operations
Power Press Operation
Experience with Progressive Dies and their functions a plus
Blueprint Reading
Ability to read a micrometer and use a vernier caliper
Basic math skills
Knowledge of machine shop safe practices

Essential Duties:

Install and set-up dies in presses
Run first piece inspection
Assist operators with troubleshooting
Remove dies from press, clean and sharpen all components and make ready for next run
Maintain inventory of spare parts and die components

Job Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods of time
Progressive die experience a plus but will train
Able to lift 35lbs
Ability to read and communicate with others
