Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Director of Nursing Women & Children Services. In this role, the successful candidate Provides clinical leadership and management of designated care areas on a twenty-four-hour basis, consistent with the philosophy, goals, and mission of NYU Langone Health. Assumes responsibility and accountability for all facets of nursing practice and performance within said designated areas, and for meeting all pertinent organizational goals and targets. Leads large scale organizational change efforts. Develops, fosters, and sustains an environment of excellence in patient/family service, staff growth and development, quality nursing care, and staff engagement and satisfaction. Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Current Registered Professional Nurse licensure in New York State. Doctoral degree in clinical nursing practice or research required Pertinent clinical knowledge preferred Certification in nursing leadership required Ability to apply nursing process toward achievement of specific outcomes in an organized fashion to address patient/family satisfaction and quality indicators. Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, organization, critical thinking, problem solving, and leadership skills. Minimum 5 years Leadership or supervisory experience.. Required Licenses: Registered Nurse License-NYS Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
