With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage client relationships by being the primary day-to-day point of contact.
- Create and effectively administer annual client service calendars and issue resolution monitoring.
- Work closely with producer/broker to build and implement plan designs and strategies that meet client's long-term goals.
- Develop strong relationship with carrier and actuarial partners to ensure successful outcomes on behalf of Alera Group clients.
- Work closely with Benefits Analyst to help prepare and present detailed plan design analysis that will aid Alera Group clients in making informed decisions.
- Assist in the new business sales process including the preparation of RFP's, proposals, and presentations.
- Review of SPD's, contracts, and legal documents to ensure compliance.
- Work with account managers to resolve day-to-day service issues, including eligibility, billing and claim issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate college degree preferred; or experience equivalent considered
- Life and Health Insurance State License (Required)
- Professional Certification preferred (GBA, PHR, CLU, CEBS, CBP) (not required)
- Minimum 5-10 years insurance carrier and/or insurance brokerage experience
- Advanced knowledge of
- Health and Welfare plans - HMO, PPO, CDHP
- Ancillary Coverage including Life, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Dental, Vision, etc.
- Broad understanding of the various regulations surrounding health and welfare plans
- Sound judgment and willingness to take on responsibility for results
- Exemplary relationship management and customer services skills
