OVERVIEW
Alera Group is looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager. This role will be hybrid out of our St. Louis, MO office. We are willing to discuss fully remote with the right candidate.
This role will support Account Executives and Producers in all aspects of client service, working collaboratively to ensure seamless service delivery and high-quality work.

- Work with AE on renewals per due dates included on renewal timeline.
- Request renewal requirements from carrier for all lines of coverage and follow up until received.
- Order loss runs and prepare loss summary.
- Work with AE and client to complete renewal applications and exposure updates through Indio.
- Revise Acord applications per updated exposures and create marketing submission, when needed.
- In conjunction with AE, review quotes upon receipt and check against exposures.
- Request policy changes and update EPIC accordingly.
- Review Carrier Binders/Endorsements for accuracy against final quotes and/or exposures. If not provided by carrier, generate binders (from EPIC).
- Review contracts for compliance with certificates, leases, etc. - including obtaining quotes for additional coverages or limits, if required discuss with AE as appropriate.
- Deliver policies to insured.
- Review completed policy validation forms. If necessary, send correction request to carrier.
- Provide feedback from client to AE and/or producer as needed and as applicable.
- Generate proposal (from EPIC).
- Prepare master COI/EOP for AE approval. Issue and deliver COIs, EOPs, and Auto ID cards.
- Request finance options, as needed.
- Prepare and generate all agency bill invoices (from EPIC).
- Deliver binders and invoices to insured.
- Prepare Premium allocations at the direction of the AE and forward to AE for review.
- Respond to coverage questions from client in a timely fashion and refer to AE as needed.
- Prepare Summary of Insurance / Claims Guide in a timely manner.
- Process premium audits/check for accuracy and deliver to client within 5 days of receipt.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license
- 5+ years of experience in commercial lines account management, preferably at a brokerage
- Proficiency with EPIC
- Familiarity with Indio and CSR24 (preferred)
- Tech savvy, with strong skills in Microsoft Office applications
- Private Equity experience preferred, not required
- Experience with larger accounts
