REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS/SUPERVISORY Payroll Tax Administrator reports directly to Director, Payroll. Works with other Payroll Tax staff, Payroll staff, ADP, employees and other ProMedica departments as needed.
POSITION SUMMARY This role is responsible for maintaining compliance with all tax authorities and keeping current on regulatory tax law changes. Responsible to determine, support and ensure timely disbursement of garnishment/payroll taxes, including federal, state, local (city/school district), FICA, SUI and FUI to ADP; provides back-up in the absence of the Senior Payroll Tax Analyst. Acts as liaison with taxing authorities, including the IRS as required (e.g. researching penalty and interest); coordinates SUTA with unemployment TPA; works collaboratively with Treasury, HR Business Partners, Audit, Fincance, Accounts Payable, HRIS/IT, Compensation Benefits employees and the internal payroll team.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: Associates Degree in business, human resources or related field. Skills: Multistate tax experience; Multi EIN experience; Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other office equipment; Good interpersonal skills and communication; knowledgeable of payroll tax law and wage and hour law. Years of Experience: 5 to 7 years in multistate payroll tax, experience with PA and OH local taxes required License: N/A Certification: N/A
