Medical Technologist - Regenerative Medicine - Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY

Medical technologists analyze samples of blood, tissue and body fluids to determine chemical content, cell count, drug levels or blood type; they may also search for specific microorganisms like bacteria or parasites. Preparing the samples for examination, using automated equipment and specialized instrumentation (processing stem cells and platelet rich plasma, the lipid layer, and platelet lysate), performing numerous complicated tests simultaneously and accurately interpreting the results are all part of a medical technologists job. 

Infection control and sterilization protocols must be followed to minimize these hazards. Medical technologists can also expect to spend many hours standing in a laboratory. 

Education:  Bachelor�s Degree or equivalent experience
Years of Experience: 5 years phlebotomy experience 
Certification: BLS eligible and/or receive certification within 90 days of employment.
