Description The Mechanical Project Engineer will be primarily responsible for the implementation and installation of capital equipment and facilities to include ownership of all phases of a project from initiation and planning through installation, commissioning, and closeout. This position will provide engineering expertise to assist Maintenance, Production/Operations, EH&S, and management personnel in identifying and solving technical process issues. A proficient level of understanding of mechanical engineering principles are to be applied to assigned project work. Individual is to be provided with moderate task definition, supervision, and technical/process-related advice throughout the execution of assignments. Typically, some but minimal overall project responsibility will be delegated by this individual to others. Essential Duties
Working Conditions The basic work environment is within a manufacturing facility with an average of 3-4 weeks of travel per year (although more travel may be required on occasion). The atmosphere is relatively fast paced and occasionally becomes stressful. The environment demands that multiple projects be worked on at the same time. Work Environment:
