Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is seeking to hire a professional to fill the position of Talent Specialist. This person is responsible for supporting the organization's talent management strategies by assisting in the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs that enhance employee performance, development, and engagement-ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role plays a key part in identifying and developing internal talent, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring an exceptional employee experience throughout the talent lifecycle.

We're seeking someone with a passion for talent development and a people-first approach, who thrives in collaborative environments and enjoys building relationships across diverse teams and geographies. A continuous improvement mindset and attention to detail are essential, along with a desire to contribute to Housing, Opportunities and Mission Engagement (HOME) and change management efforts across a global organization.

This role reports to the Dir, Talent Management and partners with all members of the talent team. While each team member has distinct responsibilities, we operate as a supportive, strengths-based team that shares ownership and joy in our collective work. This is a unique opportunity to apply your skills across multiple talent programs, while learning and growing alongside three Senior Specialists, the Director of Talent Development, and the Senior Director of Global Talent Management.

This position may be based remotely in Kenya or Slovakia and requires 5% travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Talent Management
*Support the execution of talent management programs, including performance management, succession planning, and talent reviews.
*Maintain workflows and configuration of talent processes in Workday.
*Support the effectiveness of talent programs including development and employee engagement initiatives through evaluations, focus groups and listening sessions.

Talent Development
*Oversee the mentorship and coaching programs to support employee growth and career progression.
*Facilitate informational webinars and skill-building workshops designed to support talent processes, career development and a positive employee experience.

Employee Engagement and Recognition
*Oversee the onboarding program; including the maintenance of assets, support of peer buddies, managers and regional facilitators, and leading the Global Talent Management overview session.
*Manage the quarterly Values Champion program.
*Serve as the system owner of the recognition platform, You Nailed It. This includes ongoing maintenance and evaluation of its use.
*Partner on the design of employee recognition and engagement initiatives.

Data Analytics and Reporting
*Maintain the Global Talent Management project and rhythm of business Smartsheet dashboard.
*Analyze performance data to identify trends, recognize high performers, and address areas needing improvement.
*Create, maintain, and report on talent metrics and quarterly reports to inform decision-making.

REQUIREMENTS:
*2+ years of experience in HR, talent management, and/or organizational development.
*Strong project management and organizational skills.
*Demonstrated ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones.
*Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills.
*Proficiency in HRIS, LMS and talent management software (Workday, UKG, Monday Talent etc).
*Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

PREFERRED:
* Experience working in a global nonprofit, NGO or international organization.

For work locations in Slovakia, the target hiring range starts at 2,090 euros per month.
