Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Instructor - Full Time - Days - 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM. The Clinical Instructor will assume a major role in the orientation of new nursing personnel. They is responsible for the orientation process from the classroom to the clinical area by working with the orientee and the preceptor. The roles of the Clinical Instructor are of educator, facilitator, change agent, consultant, researcher and leader. The roles emerge from the ANA Scope and Standard of Practice for Nursing Professional Development. Job Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Current license to practice professional nursing in New York State. Bachelors or BSN required, Masters Degree preferred. 5+ years progressively more responsible nursing acute care experience. BLS and ACLS required. Demonstrates knowledge of relevant educational content, including knowledge of teaching and learning theories, principles of adult education, testing, measurement and evaluation. Ability to communicate with all levels of staff. Demonstrates high level computer skills.
