Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced or Lead- Level Tool Repair Analyst s to support all site programs related to Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations. at the San Antonio, TX site. This position will be responsible for inspecting tooling to ensure compliance with engineering requirements. In the event of nonconformances, the analyst will develop and implement a tool repair plan to restore the tool to the correct configuration. The role requires proficiency in basic fabrication methods, including the operation of manual milling machines, to achieve any necessary adjustments. The candidate will also be responsible for locating and aligning tooling according to technical drawings, operating Computer Aided Measurement System (CAMS) equipment, interpreting data from laser measurements, and authoring conformance reports. Additionally, this position will support the Innovation Cell by developing and fabricating shop hardware and aids. The analyst will collaborate with production mechanics to identify process improvements and provide necessary support through the creation of shop aids and hardware solutions. This role will involve coordinating with cross-functional teams, procuring required materials, fabricating solutions, developing appropriate documentation, and deploying these solutions on the production floor while ensuring compliance with all relevant specifications. Key qualifications for this position include a strong background in an aircraft manufacturing environment, experience with fabrication techniques, and proficiency in measurement systems. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in tooling processes and be a proactive self-starter with a proven track record of working independently, requiring minimal oversight while consistently delivering high-quality results and contributing to team objectives.
