The Boeing Company is looking for a Metrology Test & Evaluation Engineer to join our team in Seattle, WA. As a Metrology Test & Evaluation Engineer, you will play a vital role in the company, working with various Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) across radiofrequency, microwave, and mechanical, and physical metrology parameters. You will engage with outside test equipment vendors, design and build test fixtures, program software, and develop procedures to test new equipment, tackling new and challenging problems every day. Metrology is the science of measurement and includes all theoretical and practical aspects. Metrology engineering covers the basic understanding of how measurement accuracy and precision impact our ability to make repeatable and reproducible measurements throughout Boeing, the basic knowledge of measurement traceability and the role calibration plays in establishing traceability, and the quality systems that support these processes. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate, Mid-Level and Subject Matter Expert Metrology Test & Evaluation Engineers. Position Responsibilities:
