The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Fabrication Assembly Set Up and Test (FAST) team is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Planner - Machining & Sheet Metal to join our team in Tukwila, WA. This position will support fabrication planning and installation by providing design review, manufacturing plan authorship, fabrication sourcing (inside and outside of Boeing), interface with procurement (including tracking), and support in the lab during the build/installation. These efforts represent a wide variety of research and production programs primary in support of Boeing Commercial airplanes (BCA) and Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) programs. As a Manufacturing Planner, you will review designs for producibility, create procurement plans, create installation plans, solve technical issues, learn the process from design to installation on aircraft, and identify process improvements and risks. This position performs production engineering related work for military aircraft. The selected candidate will work with a cross-functional team including engineering, quality, product support, supplier management, and program management. Position Responsibilities Include:
