Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Systems Design and Analysis Engineer (Associate, Experienced or Senior) to join our ECS (Environment Control Systems) Engineering team located in Everett, WA . Position Overview: Our team is committed to engineering excellence in support of the 787 airplane program. We are a team of highly responsible professionals committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and integrity. This individual will support the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design. Supports the development, maintenance, or modification of system, component, and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups. Performs and documents analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Contributes to supplier development, test, and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals. Supports system components' designs/proposals standards to provide installation and detailed documentation. Trains others. Works under general direction. This position will support one or all of the sub-teams within Environmental Controls Systems (ECS): CACTCS system, Low Pressure Systems and analysis, EE Cooling, Liquid Cooling Systems, and Decompression Analysis. Position Responsibilities:
Work Authorization Statement: The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Everett, WA.
