The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a Mission Systems Integration & Test Engineer - Mid-Level, to join Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) in Saint Louis, MO. BDS is a global leader in the development, production, maintenance and enhancement of fixed-wing and rotary wing aircraft, commercial and government satellites, human spaceflight programs and weapons. Key markets include aeronautics, space and weapons. Core capabilities are in development, production and mission enabling upgrades of integrated solutions. BDS delivers the most digitally advanced, simply and efficiently produced and intelligently supported solutions to its customers. The candidate will enable the Mission Systems organization to continue to expand its business base and will participate in advancing aircraft technology. This role will involve integration of aircraft mission avionics systems while working in a collaborative environment utilizing SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework). The team is responsible for developing system/subsystem requirements, participating with Software engineers with real-time Operational Flight Program (OFP) development, subsystem/system testing, and evaluating system performance in Flight Test. Simulation and modeling is utilized to assist in requirements development, software development and offsets some Flight Test verification. Position Responsibilities:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
