Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Facilities Plant Maintenance Specialist to join our dynamic team in Kennedy Space Center, Florida. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Plant Maintenance Specialist for the ESG site. This role would also be expected to support the facilities team with projects and oversight of some contracted services. The successful candidate would be a quick learner with a focus on customer service who enjoys the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks both as an individual and as part of a team. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position is for 1st shift. This position requires the ability to obtain a clearance for access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility. This position requires an active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.) Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. Travel: Position may require travel up to 5% of the time.
