The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Associate Programmer Analyst to join the Boeing Product Support and Analysis product team in Arlington, VA; Auburn, WA; Berkeley, MO; Chicago, IL; Colorado Springs, CO; El Segundo, CA; Englewood, CO; Hazelwood, MO; Houston, TX; Huntington Beach, CA; Huntsville, AL; Jacksonville, FL; Kent, WA; Long Beach, CA; Mesa, AZ; Miami, FL; North Charleston, SC; Oklahoma City, OK; Plano, TX; Portland, OR; Renton, WA; Ridley Park, PA; San Antonio, TX; Seal Beach, CA; or Tukwila, WA.

The product team provides comprehensive software solutions for rapidly accessing and visually transforming complex engineering and manufacturing product data. Responsibilities include the development and maintenance of in-house software applications that support our business lines. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, possess the ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment, and adapt to changing priorities.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Designs, develops, tests, implements, maintains, and documents computing software applications providing value to our business partners
  • Analyzes, gathers, and evaluates end user requirements
  • Works with Product Specialists, System and Technical Architects, User Experience (UX) Designer and Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design systems and programs to meet highly complex business needs
  • Provides technical support for Production issues
  • Reviews system performance and identify and recommend improvements
  • Conducts quality assurance activities such as peer reviews for offshore and onshore development teams
  • Develops test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs
  • Creates appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code, and technical documentation
  • Stays up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Stays informed about security vulnerabilities and implement appropriate measures to protect our software applications and data


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 1+ years of Software Development experience
  • 1+ years of experience with front end web programming (Angular 9/10+, Typescript, JavaScript)
  • 1+ years of experience with backend development (Java, Spring, Oracle SQL, SQL Server)
  • Willing to work at off hours to support communication with team members located outside US as well as provide on call support on weekends for Production Releases on a rotational basis

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $68,000 - $105,800
