Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a highly motivated Project Support Specialist to join the C-17 Services Program under the Program Operations team in San Antonio, TX.

he Program Support Specialist will provide a wide variety of services to integrate data and reports through collaboration across the program and business functions and provide assigned deliverables with first-time quality and on-time delivery.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving process improvement and program initiatives.
  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.
  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.
  • Support program operations initiatives to streamline work across the C-17 Program
  • Build relationships and create a productive look ahead rhythm with program stakeholders
  • Ensure organizational alignment with Boeing processes, Program Management Best Practices, and compliance requirements
  • Maximize Boeing enterprise tools and internal/external systems to support senior management decision-making
  • Support strategic proposal initiatives with organizational management and scheduling plans
  • Assist with coordination, status tracking, and targeted improvements to strategic program and proposal campaigns
  • Maintain the program operating rhythm, calendar, and web portal
  • Support customer and program events at the site
  • Proactively communicate internally and externally, ensuring timely and accurate status and early identification of issues / help needed
  • Support coordination and quality control on quarterly Performance Assessment Report (PAR) and annual Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting (CPAR)
  • Work on assigned program integration initiatives to drive effective decision-making
  • Create executive-level papers and presentations for senior program leaders


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Project/Program Management
  • 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders and senior management
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and OneNote


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) or in a role requiring project/program management skills
  • Experience working in a cross functional organization
  • Experience presenting information at an executive level, comfort participating in executive level discussions
  • Experience with Tableau and similar internal and external dashboard systems

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $87,550 - $118,450
