Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Associate or Experienced Quality Systems Specialis t (level 2 or Level 3) to support the Fabrication Core Quality Team based out of Salt Lake City, Utah .

We are seeking a skilled Quality Systems Specialist to join our team. This role will be pivotal in ensuring early quality involvement in program development while also assisting in the development and integration of strategic programs and processes to meet business goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Assist in the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies, and processes to meet business goals, including sourcing strategy and cost imperatives. Support project management activities by coordinating project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Facilitate project meetings to track progress, address issues, and ensure effective communication among team members and stakeholders. Identify risks and opportunities, develop mitigation plans, and refine business cases for leadership approval.
  • Collect, organize, and provide data according to established processes within the management system to maintain the status of programs, customer, and supplier commitments and compliance, ensuring follow-up actions for issue resolution.
  • Review proposals, contracts, regulatory, program, and customer requirements to ensure early quality involvement in program development. Prepare and maintain Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures, and metrics to assure compliance with program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards, and working agreements.
  • Analyze process data, metrics, models, and flows to identify root causes of problems, developing preventive or corrective actions in collaboration with stakeholders. Conduct quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers to assess their ability to meet program quality requirements and support business decisions.
  • Perform hardware, software, and system-level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, reporting results to management. Analyze data to provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts, and equipment.
  • Coordinates the commitments with internal and external organizations to execute timely deliverables.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 1+ years of experience in managing projects through the full project lifecycle
  • 1+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • 1+ years of experience data mining, processing, and analysis
  • 1+ years of experience developing presentations for leadership
  • Experience in manufacturing or factory support environment


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of e xperience in project and program management
  • Experience in utilizing database management, programming, statistical modeling and/or machine learning tools
  • Experience in applying LEAN manufacturing/BPSM techniques for process improvement
  • Knowledge of International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS91001)
  • Experience with CMES and Velocity
  • Experience using Tableau

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay range (Level 2): $67,150 - $90,850

Summary Pay range (Level 3): $80,750 - $109,250
