The Boeing Company is seeking a Cruise Missiles Software Manager in St. Charles, MO. This Software Manager will lead a team of software engineers in the Cruise Missile Systems organization, which produces long-range precision-guided missiles such as the Harpoon and Standoff Land Attack Missile-Expanded Response (SLAM ER). This role will support our Boeing Defense, Space & Security Division. This position will manage multiple software teams in the development of Operational Flight Software (OFS), engagement planning and launch control software, resident test software, and other real-time embedded software products that fulfill the mission processing functionality of the cruise missile system. The software engineers on these teams use a variety of languages, including Ada, C++, C#, Java, Qt, and Python; and develop software for a variety of target platforms and operating systems, including Linux, bare metal, and VxWorks. The Cruise Missile Systems organization is a strong and growing business that produces world-class long-range precision-guided missiles, which are employed around the world to support the defense of the United States and more than 30 U.S. allied countries.
