- Strategic Goal Setting & Performance Oversight
- Develop and implement clear, measurable goals for the CL Account Managers and CL Assistants that align with departmental and organizational objectives.
- Ensure consistent performance reviews to identify growth areas, provide constructive feedback, and support team development.
- Maintain a client retention rate of 90% or higher to support revenue and margin goals.
- Clear Communication & Team Alignment
- Communicate expectations, goals, progress updates, and procedural changes regularly and transparently to all CL Team members.
- Foster open channels for feedback, clarification, and team updates to support alignment and morale.
- Process Optimization & Efficiency Initiatives
- Continuously streamline workflows by introducing new technologies and refining procedures to reduce redundancy and cycle times.
- Conduct quarterly audits to assess Account Manager workload balance and procedural adherence.
- Identify areas for improvement, provide actionable insights, and drive continuous procedural enhancements that boost EBITDA and client satisfaction.
- Leadership, Delegation & Mentorship
- Delegate new business assignments effectively based on team members' strengths and capacity, ensuring all have the tools and skills required to succeed.
- Demonstrate strong leadership through example, maintaining a high standard of professionalism, work ethic, and accountability.
- Mentor and guide staff to build their confidence, knowledge, and leadership potential.
- Motivation, Recognition & Team Culture
- Inspire high performance by offering regular positive reinforcement, recognizing achievements, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Address and resolve conflicts proactively to maintain a positive and productive team culture.
- Problem Solving & Client Advocacy
- Act swiftly to identify, address, and resolve challenges during project or service execution, ensuring alignment with desired client outcomes.
- Serve as a client advocate, coordinating all aspects of account service with Claims, Loss Control, and other internal resources to meet client needs efficiently.
- Account Management, Renewal Handling & Compliance
- Oversee all service-related activities for the Commercial Property & Casualty book of business, ensuring high satisfaction and policy accuracy.
- Manage renewals, including marketing, underwriting negotiations, loss analyses, and proposal preparation.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation in the agency management system, support producers in relationship management, and actively pursue continued insurance education and licensing.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Property and Casualty License Required.
- Demonstrable experience with a minimum of 10 years in the Commercial Lines Sector of the insurance industry.
- Experience with Applied Epic is preferred.
- Excellent team leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary range is $90K to $110K per year.
