Phantom Works, a division of Boeing Defense Systems (BDS), is excited to offer this Program Management Specialist position to lead and grow our Prototypes organization. The prototypes teams design, develop, build, test, and refine advanced technologies and platforms that shape the future for Boeing defense products. This position provides support to program management and business leadership of contracted & internally funded research & development prototype programs. As part of the program management team, responsibilities will involve engaging internal & external customers, oversight & management of contract/project statements of work execution, earned value management, profit & loss assessment/management, risk & opportunity management, safety, quality, staffing, and program recovery plans when necessary. This developing leader establishes, maintains, and continuously improves the working culture on program. They work collaboratively with all integrated product teams (IPTs), supporting disciplines, and senior Prototypes leadership to successfully integrate and grow Boeing's safety, quality, and compliance elements for each program. The leader establishes, oversees, and supports program management in establishing, maintaining and managing the security and proprietary operating environments for the various projects, as determined by US government customers and/or Boeing leadership. The position leads a small team of employees in Berkley, MO office, this leader will work 100% onsite and conduct business travel as required (~5-10% overall). The initial project for this position involves the oversight and leadership of a PW Prototype team in the modification and return to flight status of a uniquely configured F-15 test aircraft. This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active). Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position. This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
