Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS ) is seeking Entry Level Multidiscipline Engineers for the Florida Design Center in Titusville, FL .

The Florida Design Center is a multi-function Engineering Organization with a mission statement to provide engineering solutions via a highly skilled flexible workforce and cutting-edge technologies for the advancement of the Boeing Enterprise. The Design Center provides engineering support to Enterprise-wide projects/programs and is a flexible team that strategically adapts to emerging opportunities.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Assists with the development and documentation of basic requirements via drawings, data sets, reports, specifications and supporting data
  • Develops or modifies basic designs based on defined requirements
  • Performs tests to verify operational and functional requirements
  • Assists in monitoring suppliers' performance to ensure compliance with requirements
  • Supports resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies
  • Researches basic technologies for potential application to company business needs
  • Assists other members of project or program teams, management, and technical staff to define and implement engineering solutions to meet group, organization, and company objectives


This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • Knowledge of aerospace structure, materials strengths and properties, design criteria, loading conditions, and processes
  • Skills and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.
  • Ability to digest functional requirements and apply them to the product
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment to produce high quality engineering products


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Ability to produce and understand engineering drawings and 3-D Computer Aided Design models
  • Basic understanding of Finite Element Modeling techniques


Relocation:

This is a 1st shift position.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $63,750 - $86,250
