Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Phantom Works is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer (Level 4) to support the Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) organization in Berkeley, MO. This position is within Phantom Works Systems Engineering (SE) as a Supplier Requirements Engineer (SRE). As a SRE you will work with experienced engineers to develop, prepare, coordinate, and maintain significant portions of the Buy-to-Packages imposed on Boeing suppliers to include the Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW) and Supplier Data Requirements Lists (SDRL). The SRE is also involved in the development of the supplier Request for Proposal (RFP) and subsequent supplier proposal evaluation. Specific RFP and proposal evaluation responsibilities include the preparation of the evaluation of the technical, management and cost sections of supplier proposals and support of the resulting supplier negotiations including data gathering and information discovery at supplier facilities. Preparation of material requisition is also required. Position Responsibilities
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or internationally depending on business needs. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Typical Education & Experience Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
