The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Industrial Security Manager to join the team in Washington DC, DC.

The Industrial Security Manager will be supporting a Special Access Program (SAP) and collateral programs. This role involves ensuring compliance with all applicable security regulations and policies, conducting risk assessments, and implementing security measures to protect sensitive information. The manager will also be responsible for training personnel on security protocols.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Manages employees performing activities to protect information from unauthorized disclosure, including security inquiries, compliance assessments and implementation security controls
  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
  • Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years
  • 10+ years of experience in Industrial Security
  • 5+ years of experience with Industrial Security, Facilities Security, Personnel Security, and/or Intelligence in a cleared environment
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal management role
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Polygraph
  • Ability to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Programs (SAP)


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience with security-related work in one or a combination of the following domains: NISP, SAP, and/or SCI
  • 3+ years of experience with Project Management
  • 3+ years of experience with building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives in the Defense or Aerospace environment
  • 3+ years of experience communicating and building positive relationships with internal and external customers

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $141,100 - $190,900
