Alera Group is seeking an Employee Benefits Coordinator to join our team in Beachwood, Ohio � joining us may be the perfect fit for you! We are passionate about our clients� success in the areas of Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, Retirement Plan Services, and Wealth Services. With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver prompt, professional client support�resolving claims, billing, enrollment, and benefits questions via phone, email and meetings
- Coordinate with internal teams and Producers to drive service strategy, including scheduling and calendar management
- Assist with RFPs, proposal comparisons, and preparing client-ready recommendations
- Create presentations, reports, and marketing materials for clients
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in internal systems
- Run analytics and benchmarking reports; support renewal and new business processes
- Collaborate across teams, support vendor relationships, and provide backup for consultants and analysts as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor�s degree in business or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
- Holds or is willing to obtain an Ohio Health & Welfare Insurance License (with ongoing education as needed)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; adept at drafting client-facing reports and proposals
- Commitment to outstanding client service with a positive, professional attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel� and PowerPoint�
- Organized, detail-oriented multitasker who thrives under deadlines
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information
- Team player who can also work independently
