Trimble-Batjer, an Alera Group Company, is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join one of our top producing Property & Casualty teams in San Antonio, TX. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage an assigned book of business, focusing on maximizing client retention and building strong, long-term relationships through proactive engagement and annual reviews.
- Oversee the entire policy lifecycle, including renewals, invoicing, processing policies/endorsements/audits, and providing excellent customer service for all client inquiries.
- Act as a liaison with carriers, gathering underwriting information, negotiating terms, and collaborating with producers to secure appropriate coverage for clients.
- Provide claims advocacy and resolve complex client service issues, including coverage questions and billing discrepancies.
- Identify and pursue cross-sale opportunities, recommending suitable insurance products and referring clients to other firm resources.
- Ensure complete and accurate data in agency management systems and adhere to all prescribed processes, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Work cooperatively with colleagues and assist in mentoring and training other associates to foster a collaborative environment
QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) broker's license is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in commercial lines account management or P&C administration, with a strong client service history.
- Thorough technical knowledge of commercial property and casualty products, including policy forms and endorsements.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with agency management systems (e.g., EPIC) and CRM programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Highly organized, self-directed, with superior time management, significant attention to detail, and strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
- A strong client-centric approach, coupled with effective consultative selling skills and a proactive attitude towards identifying client needs and growth opportunities.
