Responsible for schedule customers pickups and raw materials transportation. Maintains day to day operations within the shipping office. Works closely with customer service, Distribution Centers and Brokers to track shipment arrivals and customer complaints. Coordinates daily shipments for the facility. Prepares daily/weekly departmental reports.

  • Updates orders on SAP
  • Prints paperwork for carriers
  • Assigns dock door to carriers and communicates with them when order is ready
  • Prepares memos and other communications to relevant departments as directed.
  • Maintains filing system in a neat and orderly manner.
  • Prepares export documentation for international orders.
  • Prepares and maintains spreadsheets and databases as necessary.
  • Communicates with customer service and production scheduling to benefit/assist customer satisfaction.
  • Processes, files and follows-up on all damage claims by common carriers.
  • Performs other job-related projects, duties and assignments as directed by the Logistics Manager.
  • Assist loaders with issues as needed to ensure proper invoicing to customers.
  • Orders Office supplies.
  • Process invoices
  • Practices and adheres to appropriate safety and hygiene guidelines and procedures for safe housekeeping and personal protection; keeps work area clean; properly stores supplies in designated area; demonstrates the ability to operate office machinery, computer equipment, and printers in a safe and knowledgeable manner; follows instructions for safe lifting and carrying of various sizes, shapes and weights of objects; identifies and reports defective equipment to supervision; reports all job-related injuries to supervision.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and related experience or combination of education and experience. Must be PC literate with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access preferred.


Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.


Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.


Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
