Summer Program Staff: Work where you play! Be a part-time staff member for the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission's Prince George's County Department of Parks and Recreation. We are looking to hire Sumer Camp and Summer Playground positions including positions for our Xtreme Teen Program. The positions are located in community centers, public schools and other specialized facilities. Work part-time during evenings, days or weekends. Applicants must be at least 15 years of age (age 21 in some cases) with a starting salary range of $15.00/hr-$31.26/hr depending on the position and your experience. Instructors: Part-Time/Seasonal Instructors - Teach What You Love More! Be a part-time instructor for the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission's Prince George's County Department of Parks and Recreation. Positions are located in community centers, public schools and other Prince George's County locations. Work part-time during evenings, days or weekends. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age (age 21 in some cases). The starting salary range is $15.00/hr-$75.00/hr depending on the position, your experience and certifications. We are looking to hire Customer Service Representatives who will serve our patrons and provide valuable information. The positions are located in community centers and other specialized facilities and offices. Work part-time during days or weekends. We are looking to hire staff to support our summer programs and provide artistic fun through face painting. THE MARYLAND-NATIONAL CAPITAL PARK AND PLANNING COMMISSION 2024 BENEFIT SUMMARY FOR SEASONAL INTERMITTENT EMPLOYEES The following information is a summary of benefits extended to all Seasonal employees of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC). This is for informational purposes only and is subject to change. Limited Benefits for Seasonal Employees Health Insurance Plans You are eligible for specific health insurance benefits if you worked, on average, 30 hours per week during your first 12 months of employment or from October 3rd to October 2nd each subsequent period following your first 12 months of employment. This equates to 1,560 hours over a 12-month period. If and when you are eligible for benefits, you will receive notification directly from the Health & Benefits Office. Eligible Employees Pay 35% of the health insurance plan premium and The Commission Pays 65%.
