New Jersey Resources (NJR) summer internships provide engaging learning and growth opportunities for enthusiastic college students ready to build real-world experience and learn about the energy industry. New Jersey Natural Gas, a subsidiary of NJR is seeking a GIS Analyst Intern to assist with various duties required to maintain the company's Geographic Information System (GIS) in Engineering. What you will do: Bring your enthusiasm and drive and you'll learn from some of the top talent in the energy industry. You'll have hands-on experience with your team and the support of our human resources team through this 10-week program. Growing both professionally and personally throughout the program could lead to future post-grad opportunities. • Use ArcGIS to digitize, edit attributes and update spatial data • Assist with field research and data collection using GPS equipment • Review and verify the address information to assist in successful geo-coding activities • Assist GIS/Drafting staff as required to update the GIS system What we are looking for: We're looking for self-starters who are motivated to learn, grow and take on new challenges.
