Foreign Service Limited Position Opportunity: Program Officer (Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist), Bureau for Asia, Office of Strategic Planning and Operations (ASIA/SPO) - FL-0343-02 Agency: U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Organization: Bureau for Asia, Office of Strategic Planning and Operations (ASIA/SPO) Location of Position: Washington, DC Open Period: January 2, 2024 - January 20, 2024 Appointment Type: This is an excepted service, time-limited appointment that is not-to-exceed five years. Salary: (USD) $126,164 - $183,500 (annually) Number of Vacancies: One Description of Organization: This position is located in ASIA/SPO and provides monitoring and evaluation expertise for the USAID efforts within the Asia region. ASIA/SPO serves as the principal point of contact and coordination on all aspects related to the Agency's strategic planning and budgeting for both ASIA and regional Operating Units (OUs). To support these objectives, ASIA/SPO's Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Team provides technical support to measure progress on strategic objectives, evaluate and improve programs, and to incorporate monitoring, evaluation, and learning best practices into USAID's programming. Description of Position: The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will support ASIA and its Missions by providing technical assistance in all areas related to MEL.
