Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sr. Epic Analyst II. In this role, the successful Epic Analyst is responsible for in-depth knowledge of assigned Epic System software. He/she conducts regular day-to-day communication, reviews the software, demonstrates a deeper understanding of business operations, and works with Epic, the Project Team(s), NYULMC Business Representatives/Subject Matter Experts, and end users to tailor the system to fit the organizations needs. The Epic Senior Systems Analyst 2 routinely performs in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with the use of Epic software; is responsible for developing and documenting the internal procedures that will be used in conjunction with Epic applications; and will design, build, test, install and maintain those solutions. The Senior Systems Analyst 2 is expected to use critical thinking skills and work independently to provide system solutions to meet business needs. The ability to work across teams as well as mentor team members is a primary role for this position. Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Minimum Qualifications:Effective oral, written communication and follow-up skills. Strong interpersonal relationship skills. Strong desktop tool usage including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Good process design experience. Basic project management skills (ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues list, manage project plan). Self-motivated, detail-oriented , problem solver. Requires 3-4 years of experience and BA/BS degree. Certified in 1 or more Epic Applications with/or working toward an Epic Graduate certification in their primary application. Multiple Epic implementation experiences. Possesses cross-application integration knowledge. Healthcare experience required. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $110,479.19 - $150,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
