We are looking for a Sr. Director Analytics to lead Finance Analytics within Energy and Sustainability Solutions (ESS). You will lead a growing and global team of data analytics experts in ESS who will manage the processes responsible for accurate data collection, processing, modeling, and analysis. You will be responsible for the enablement of wall-to-wall margin reporting through ERP / finance system optimization. The ideal candidate has a knack for seeing solutions in sprawling data sets and the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for our company.

The Sr. Director will work closely with leaders across different domains in ESS (ISC, Finance, Sales, Operations etc.) to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions. They will ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures. They will use advanced data modeling, predictive modeling, and analytical techniques to interpret key findings from company data and leverage these insights into initiatives that will support business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:


Leadership: (30%)

• Be the front-end communicator & and provide strong functional thought leadership and consulting in the respective domain
• Motivate the team to drive performance in a fast-paced environment, with multiple tasks, deadlines, and changing priorities
• Ability to learn new platforms and technologies quickly and efficiently, and advise on best business use

Data & Technology: (35%)
• Partner with IT & and jointly drive ODS / ERP integration into a common platform
• Develop dashboards and recommendations for executives by connecting data from Core ERPs & and enabling weekly reporting Capabilities using Tableau
• Possess Technical expertise to ensure quality and accuracy of data is factored for raw insights
• Data Mining - validate data extracted & and report out discrepancies between the current vs. to-be reporting model
• Strong technology experience, preferably past delivery lead role experience of multiple technologies including but not limited to SAP Hana, SAP BI, Data Integration, common knowledge of security application and data security, and data architectures
• Experience using data science solutions hosted on Honeywell FORGE (Domino, Paxata, Dremio, Informatica, Collibra)

Analytics: (35%)
• Develop and implement comprehensive tools and strategies that allow raw data to be transformed into business insights
• Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
• Understand the domain, business, industry, and interconnectivity between industries. Sees the vision of the business and supports through innovation
• Radically challenges the way "things are used". Creates new efficient ways. Starts at end-user and works backward/tech is secondary
• Ability to connect multiple aspects, understand a problem domain, and be able to draw conclusions, and suggest solutions. Ability to engage in both inductive and deductive processes, Knowledge of how to find unknown quantities in a problem-solving situation, Competence in linking various operations for complex problem-solving
• Create advanced analytics and predictive models to solve complex problems & and develop analytical solutions

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Relevant finance/Analytics experience of 12+ years in progressive roles
  • Broad management expertise across disciplines within different job areas across job families
  • Experience Working through and driving complex problems to completion with senior leaders
  • Extensive influencing and collaboration skills
  • Strong program management and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and the ability to influence decisions at all levels
