Design solutions to drive safe living and quality of life

Deliver an end-to-end user experience across every user touch point for the [SBG] business, using well established human-centered design principles to ensure that Honeywell products and applications are the most useful, usable and desirable products in the marketplace. You will support user experience design initiatives for products globally, and contribute directly to creating the next generation of user experiences on a wide variety of consumer, commercial and industrial products. You will work with our portfolio of brands to create branded seamless experience across user touch points. You will collaborate with other experience designers in an interdisciplinary studio that applies best practices to achieve world-class results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop UX strategies that align with business objectives and user needs.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Experience with design tool including Figma, Sketch, AdobeXP - preference for Figma
  • Fluent with design sketching and prototyping tools, e.g., Axure, Balsamiq, Visio, etc
  • Design intuitive and efficient user interfaces with a focus on usability, accessibility, and scalability.
  • Define user flows, information architecture, and navigation structures that guide users seamlessly through digital experiences.
  • Collaborate with UI designers, developers, and product managers to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions.
  • Be aware of new UX/UI trends, best practices, and technologies to continuously drive design process improvement.
  • Proficient user experience design skills, e.g., customer journey map, experience diagramming, task analysis, workflow design, etc.
  • Develop project portfolio strategies.
You Must Have:
  • Experience with all stages of the design process - from ideation and user research to low- to high-fidelity mock-ups and delivering designs.
  • Experience working with product managers and engineers on designs.
  • 8+ years of experience: In all stages of the design - ideation, user research, low- to high-fidelity mock-ups, collaboration with engineers, and delivering designs - process for a web application.
  • Comfortable working on a team and in an environment that moves quickly while maintaining pixel-perfect design standards.
  • Familiar with web-first design practices, care about designing for accessibility, and have created and/or owned a design library.
  • You have an understanding and experience around prioritization within a product organization.
We Value:
  • Outstanding user experience design portfolio.
  • Bachelors degree in Human Factors, Psychology, User Experience Design or related degree.
  • Some experience in user experience design, interaction design or human factors.
  • Experience with observational research and usability testing.
  • Graduate degree in user experience design, human factors, interaction design or related discipline.
  • Experience with design trends, benchmarking, forecasting and concept creation.
  • Experience with project planning, scoping and execution in a phase-gate and/or agile environment.
