This is a high-visibility position in a winning team.

This Senior Director position is responsible for developing the vision and strategy of how our 300+ Honeywell supply network should operate, and making that strategy a reality. This leader will work with business leaders, operations and supply chain leaders, and supplier development engineers to drive a transformation in our business with the right manufacturing methods, ensuring strategic operational business results are achieved, and grow the capability of our supply chain organization.

Geographic location: Remote role with local travel (up to 75%) to suppliers near Boston, MA. The closest Honeywell office is Morris Plains, NJ.

Key Responsibilities
  • Driving strategic project selection to enable performance of the our suppliers
  • Engage in the most critical suppliers working with leaders to drive rapid performance improvement
  • Working with suppliers to help rapidly increase capacity and capability
  • Reporting status to executive and corporate leadership on a regular basis
  • Driving strategic relationships with external companies to enable success
  • Being a thought-leader for the Integrated Supply Chain organization as part of the elite team ensuring a resilient supply chain for Honeywell Aerospace.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing or related technical field
  • 10 + years of manufacturing engineering and/or project engineering experience
  • 5+ years of experience leading manufacturing and/or engineering teams

  • Outstanding functional expertise; ability to communicate the value proposition of the supply chain organization as a commercial asset.
  • Natural leadership skills; "edge" and gravitas; ability to influence and create followership.
  • People development skills. Ability to build organizational talent and develop a world-class supply chain team by mentoring/coaching, rewarding high performance and skill development.
  • Vision; ability to assess organizational capability; strategic with the ability to articulate both short and long-term (three-year) plans.
  • Expertise with Supply Chain systems, policies, processes and procedures to achieve world-class, integrated supply chain performance.
  • Metric-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to comprehend broad sets of data (especially financial); technically astute; demonstrated history to act on analysis and drive impactful results.
  • Some knowledge and experience with lean, operational excellence, continuous improvement.
  • Industrial Manufacturing with a large global footprint
  • Multi-industry experience is preferred
