PURPOSE:
We are looking for an experienced professional in the greater Baltimore metropolitan area who is willing and able to work in a hybrid model. The incumbent will be expected to work a portion of their week from home and a portion of their week at a CareFirst location based on business needs and work activities/deliverables that week.

Coordinates, researches, organizes and tracks clinically related operational data and operational issues resolution for a dedicated set of care management or other clinical teams.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Provides analytical and operational assistance to clinical leadership team that supports clinical teams and associated resources. Provides relevant and timely data to clinical leaders, summarizing data into actionable summaries.
  • Facilitates regular reporting review and audits. Acts as subject matter expert on the performance of a regional team and/or other clinical entity related to key metrics.
  • Supports clinical teams with operational and technical issue resolutions by researching issues, identifying trends and formulating potential resolution. Provides tracking and communication to leadership on operation issues and concern resolution.
  • Prepares clinical information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Contributes to clinical data and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
  • Participates in special projects in support of closing performance gaps related to people, process and technology.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business, Healthcare or related role OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.

Experience:
  • 2 years experience in a healthcare programs and data coordination role.
  • 1 year experience in a clinical operations role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical operations data related to care management.
  • Experience analyzing, synthesizing and organizing operational data into consumable reports and summaries.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in the use of web-based technology and Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to research operational problems, propose solutions and track to resolution.
  • Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.

Salary Range: $42,552 - $78,012
