Job Description: Basic Function and Responsibilities: Under the leadership of the Director of Online Curriculum and Instruction, the Instructional Designer (ID) for Online Curriculum and Instruction enhances the quality of all online courses at Oakton by working closely with faculty from the design phase to finished product. The Instructional Designer is the design expert who guides the subject matter expert (SME) in the development and refinement of courses that adhere to Oakton Community College standards in quality online course delivery in a variety of modalities. Additional Information: Supervision received: Functional supervision is received from the Principal Manager of Online Learning Outcomes and Achievement. Administrative supervision is received from the Director of Online Curriculum and Instruction. Supervision exercised: N/A HOURS: 8:15 am - 5:00 pm SALARY: $58,295 Based on the needs of the college and with Administrator approval, some positions at the college may have remote or hybrid schedule options available after 30 working days.
